The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) is in the process of establishing a pool of students to act as public relations and social media ambassadors throughout the year.
What is a Student Ambassador?
As a Student Ambassador, you are responsible for representing and promoting the Institute by showcasing life on campus (or virtually) through imagery and videos.
We accept applications from all different study programmes, at any level.
The necessary assistance and guidance will be provided.

What would your role involve?
- Act as a spokesperson for the Institute from a student point of view, through images and videos
- Provide the Institute with content to be posted on Social Media
- Provide personal experience of theoretical and practice classes
- Be a student liaison by building relations with students and faculty members to communicate any concerns through the year
- Provide feedback about certain campaigns
- Serve as the ‘face’ of the Institute
- Participate/attend events organised by the Institute and promote them ahead of time
- Act as a guide to prospective students – be able to answer queries and provide experiences to future students
- Help in open day activities such as freshers’ week, career fairs and campus tours
- Participate in photoshoots whenever the Institute requires content
What tools/skills are a bonus:
- Good communicator
- Possessing strong multimedia skills
- A fountain of creativity
- Knows their way with social media channels and creating videos
